Kaat Lens (°2000) studied Fine Arts – Painting at LUCA School of Arts in Ghent, she lives and works in Brussels.
Lens likes to think of herself as much as a painter as an observer. When it’s dark and people leave their curtains open, she finds herself glimpsing into private spaces. Unintentionally being allowed to look into someone else’s life. She likes to experiment with perspective and power: who is looking and who is being looked at.
